Melanie Ann Lusk
Of Lorado, WV
Melanie Ann Lusk, 48, of Lorado, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 30, 2010, from her home, after an extended illness.
She was born September 26, 1962, at Logan, a daughter of Bill and Joyce Franklin Laws of Amherstdale.
Melanie was preceded in death by two sons, Jacob Lusk and Ira Junior Lusk II.
She was a home maker.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 20 years, Ira Junior Lusk Sr. of Lorado; two daughters, Brooke Ann Lusk at home and Erica Shanta Laws of Amherstdale; two step-daughters, Miranda (John) Marcum of Sarah Ann and Kristie Nichols of Pikeville, KY; five grandchildren, Patrick and Stephanie Marcum of Sarah Ann, and Chyann Nichols, Demetri Nichols, and R.J. Nichols, all of Pikeville, KY; three brothers, Billy Joe (Kim) Laws Jr. of Wilkinson, Bobby Joe (Kelly) Laws of Amherstdale, and John (Crystal) Laws of Christiansburg, VA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Johnny Albright and Elizabeth Lusk and Joe Daniels, all of Lorado, Glen and Karen Lusk of Whitman, and David and Cathy Lusk of Lincoln Co.; a special friend, Diana Miller of Lorado; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010, at Lundale Free Will Baptist Church at Lundale with Rev. Eddie Isom and Rev. Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery at Curtis.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Lundale Free Will Baptist Church.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
