Obituary of Mary Anne Varrassi White

Mary Anne Varrassi White Of Man, WV Mary Anne Varrassi White, born October 14, 1923 in Logan passed away at Logan Regional Medical Center Tuesday, September 21, 2010 following an extended illness. Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Henry and Anedea Varrassi. She made her home at Man. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joseph White; and two brothers, Pat Varrassi and Mario Varrassi. Surviving are her son, Pat Joe White of Man; one sister, Lydia Hayes of Circleville, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. White was a lifetime member of the Catholic Church most recently at St. Edmund at Man. She was a member of Hemlock Hills Garden Club and the Triadelphia Women’s Club. Mrs. White was an active volunteer in her community. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and travel. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010, at the St. Edmund Catholic at Man with Father Thomas Charters officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Edmund Catholic Church, 106 N. Bridge St., Man, WV 25635. Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man will be serving the White family.
