Tammy Blankenship Maynard
Of Stowe, WV
Tammy Sue Blankenship Maynard, 50, of Stowe, passed away at her home on Friday, August 13, 2010, after a long illness.
She was born October 13, 1959, at Man, a daughter of the late Mason and Dorothy Bartram Blankenship.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Rebecca Bartram and Perry and Sarah Blankenship; three sisters, Rebecca Blankenship, Gustavia Blankenship, and Emmalean Rose; and one great-nephew, Kody Blankenship.
Mrs. Maynard was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed talking on the phone and sitting with her door open in the evenings so that she could watch her great-nephews play in the yard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeremy Maynard of Greenvalley; her grandson whom she loved dearly, Jeremy Shaun Maynard of Logan; her brothers and sisters, Norville (Janice) Blankenship of Shiloh, OH, Mason (Nadine) Blankenship of Hunt, Ranny (Susie) Blankenship of Crites with whom she made her home; Luther (Pearl) Blankenship of Auburn, Arlen (Gail) Blankenship of Shiloh, OH, Imajean Templeman of Christian, Darlene Lux of Shelby, OH, Donna Rae Rogers of Christian, and Vicky (Ed) Chally of Lexington, KY; one very special friend, Debbie Linville who was her caretaker; along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the Sandlick Free Will Baptist Church at Bruno.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Sandlick Free Will Baptist Church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
Pall bearers will be Zack Smith, Nick Banks, Cody Rhodes, Joe Rose, Tra Traylor, Brandon Copley, and her nephews.
Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man is in charge of the arrangements.
