Obituary of Ralph A. Greene

Ralph A. “Buzz” Greene Of Combs Addition, WV Ralph A. “Buzz” Greene, 57, of Combs Addition, died Friday, August 13, 2010, in an automobile accident. He was born June 15, 1953, in Logan, a son of Russell and Jacqueline Underwood Greene of Christian. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rusty; cousins; and aunts and uncles. He enjoyed going to movies, relaxing on his back deck and playing golf which he had loved for over 40 years. Buzz worked in various aspects of the mining industry being a Federal Mine Inspector for the last several years and was very proud of his occupation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. All who knew him will never forget him. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 30 years, Robin; son, Matthew of Morgantown; parents, Russell and Jacqueline Greene; and his little brother, Rusty. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins he dearly loved as well as his family-in-law. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, 8-17-2010, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Anthony Hudgins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home and one hour prior to services. Pall bearers will be Donald Duty, Brandon Carter, Clark Blackburn, Cass Trent, Kenny Butcher, and Lawrence Mendez. Honorary pall bearers will be Joe and Jack Waters, Jim and Rick Grimmett, Greg McClure, Roy Lambert, D.J. Sanders, Paul Hollingshead II, Elmer Bailey, Todd Hatfield, and Pat Joe White.
