Mary Lawrence Of Man, WV Mary Lawrence, 93, of Man departed this life Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Louisa Health Care Center at Louisa, VA. She was born October 28, 1916, in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John, Sr. and Susan Petroski Lawrence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Nemchek; one brother, John Lawrence, Jr.; one niece, Helen Marie Gabrys; and one nephew, Michael Nemchek. Mary was a member of the St. Edmund Catholic Church at Man. She was a retired sales clerk formerly employed with Firestone at Man and the Kistler Grill at Kistler. Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Paul Lawrence of Palmyra, VA; and four nephews; along with a host of great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010, at the St. Edmund Catholic Church at Man with Father Tom Charters officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Friends may gather from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. The remains have been cremated.. Arrangements are in the care of Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
