Of Christian, WV
Morris Michael Dale Goodman, 37, of Christian, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010.
He was born March 21, 1973, at Ironton, OH, a son of Lola Goodman of Christian with whom he made his home and the late Henry Goodman and the biological son of Reta Conley of Blair and the late Morris Sizemore.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Kelli Goodman; paternal grandparents, Frank and Minerva Sizemore and Conway and Sallie Conley; two nieces, Tasha M. Conley and Lola Michelle Davis; and two uncles, Jessie Wayne Conley and Bazil Melvin Sizemore.
Dale loved to hunt, fish, 4-wheel, and ride motorcycles. He loved his daughter with all of his heart and enjoyed spending time with her.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are one daughter, Jessica Goodman of Christian; step-father, Buddy Conley of Blair; five sisters, Marie (Ozie) Burgess of Lyburn, Brenda (Bruce) Brumfield of NC, Sandy (Steven) Wallace of Amherstdale, Beatrice Goodman of Christian, and Sally (Bryan) Childers of Blair; four brothers, Eugene (Tina) Goodman of Baisden, Frank (Dee) Goodman and Eugene (Michelle) Conley, both of Chapmanville, and Joshua Goodman of Robinette; aunts, Danna Watts of Blair, Sandy (Hobert) Conley of Ripley, and Anita (Colan) Stapleton of Mabscott; uncle, Roger Sizemore of Taplin; many nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at the Pathway Church of God at Christian with Rev. Harrison Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Pathway Church of God and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
