Obituary of Kelli Starr Griffin Goodman

Kelli Starr Griffin Goodman Christian, WV Kelli Starr Griffin Goodman, 33, of Christian, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 23, 2010, from CAMC-General Division, after a sudden illness. She was born January 9, 1977, at Man, a daughter of Delores Griffin Bowen of Bruno and the late Max Bowen. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents who reared her, Berta “Cork” and Ruth Griffin. She was a home maker and was of the Church of God faith. Kelli was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 17 years, Morris Michael Dale Goodman of Christian; one daughter, Jessica Michelle Goodman of Christian; three sisters, Sheryl Lynn Rogers of Bruno, Wendy Welch of Hensley Heights, and Kim Kretzer of Lakeland, FL; one brother, Gary Bowen of Princeton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rita and Raymond Conley of Blair; grandmother-in-law, Lola Goodman of Christian; a special uncle and aunt, Larry and Paula Griffin and their son Larry II who the family thanks with all of their hearts for all of the help they provided throughout Kelli’s hospital stay; several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, at the Pathway Church of God at Christian with Rev. Harrison Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Pathway Church of God at Christian and one hour prior to services. Pall bearers will be family and friends. Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man is in charge of the arrangements.
