Of Logan, WV
Clarence L. Berry, 99, of Logan, formerly of Man, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from Trinity Nursing Home at Logan, after an extended illness.
He was born February 26, 1915 in Greenbrier County, a son of the late Joe Cephus and Jane Ellen Bryant Berry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his wife, Mary Tincher Berry; four children Edward Eugene Berry, Loretta Mae Berry, Paul Berry, and Alice Ferrell; and two grandchildren, Lisa Hall and Paul Luther Berry.
Clarence worked for Logan Lumber Company for 15 years and JP Hamer Lumber Company for 5 years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Burley "Romeo" Berry of Man, Silas (Kathy) Berry of Kistler, Dallas Ray Berry of Man, Barbara Hall of Kistler, and Blenda (Virgil) Brickles of Cyclone; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Les Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning- Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
