Betty Lou Mullins
Of Lorado, WV
Betty Lou Mullins, 67, of Lorado, joined her loving husband and her Heavenly Father in Heaven on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, leaving from CAMC-Memorial Division, after an extended illness.
She was born November 19, 1950, at Cyclone, a daughter of the late Buster and Garnet Bailey Elkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Lee Mullins, Sr.
Betty was a home maker, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She attended Lundale Freewill Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed the outdoors; gathering ramps, molly moochers and greens and enjoying her bounty at cookouts with family and friends. She also loved playing with her great-grandson, Casen and great-niece, Sophia. She loved to laugh and will long be remembered by those who loved her for her infectious bouts of laughter.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Ocie Mullins of Lorado; two sons, Oliver Lee "General Lee" Mullins, Jr. and Edison Lee Mullins and a special friend, Amanda, both of Lorado; one step-son, Todd Aaron Goff of King, NC; one grandson, Danny "Deedle" Williams and his girl friend, Staci, of Chapmanville; one great-grandson, Casen Lee Williams of Chapmanville; two sisters, Merlie (Ronald "Pete") Maynard and Laura Lusk and her companion, Sam Bellomy, of Cyclone; four brothers, David (Karen) Elkins, Richard (Carolyn) Elkins, and a very special brother who helped her in every way he could, Johnny (Tammy) Elkins, all of Lorado, and Darrell Gene (Jane) Elkins of Riley; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church at Lundale with Rev. Bobby Adkins and Rev. Kevin Koutsunis officiating. Burial will follow in Home Sweet Home Cemetery at Lorado.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to services also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pall bearers are Todd Aaron Goff, Johnny Elkins, and Ronald "Bucket" Maynard.
