Margaret Josephine Lowe Osborne
Of Lundale, WV
Margaret Josephine Lowe Osborne, 85, of Lundale, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 14, 2018, leaving from her home, after a long illness.
She was born on May 17, 1932, in Washington County, Virginia, a daughter of the late James Walter and Nellie Phillips Spriggs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawyer Lowe; her second husband, Elmer Osborne; one son, Andy Lowe; one granddaughter, Annette Waters; and all 17 of her brothers and sisters.
Josephine was a home maker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an honorary member of the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church. Josephine enjoyed listening to preaching, singing, cooking, and keeping her house immaculately clean. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are four children, Betty Smeester of Bradenton, FL, Lou Verna (Roger) Adkins of Lorado, Johnnie Ray (Gay) Lowe of Boonscamp, KY, and Robert (Ada) Lowe of Accoville; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; her care givers, Vickie Toler, Jessica Gibson, and Nikki Adkins; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home also.
Pall bearers will be grandsons.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
