Of Clarksville, TN
Rhonda Marie Maynard, 59, of Clarksville, TN went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family who loved her so much, on Friday, December 8, 2017, leaving from Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN, after a sudden illness.
She was born October 19, 1958, in Wayne County, WV, the daughter of the late Joseph Cecil Burgess and Janice Lou Rasnick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Burgess.
Rhonda's faith in God was strong and she loved to talk about the Bible. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 43 years; their love was a true inspiration to all. Rhonda was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. She was a youth group leader and piano player at her church and had a voice like an angel. Rhonda was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rev. Eddie Arnold Maynard Sr.; one son, Eddie Arnold (Jessica) Maynard Jr.; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn (James) Arrington; three grandchildren, Jacob Tyler Maynard, John Brandon Maynard, and Hannah Brooke Maynard; one brother, David Burgess; one sister, Lisa Carter; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home in Man, WV.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Pollard and Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill where a graveside service will be held.
Pall bearers will be family and her youth group.
