Eathel Delores Bobbitt
Of Christian, WV
Eathel Delores Bobbitt, 73, of Christian, departed this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was born on March 14, 1944, at Leatherwood, a daughter of the late Auldie and Angie Lester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved five sisters, Georgie Lester, Marcella Lester, Rebecca Lester, Loriane Azar, and Grethel Walls; and two brothers, Bueford Lester and Frank Lester.
Eathel was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her strong faith in God carried her through all of life's hardships and she was an inspiration to her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Cecil Bobbitt of Christian; two daughters, Debbie (Johnny) Blankenship of Gilbert and Tammy (Roger) Robinette of Spice Creek; one son, Randall Bobbitt of Christian; three sisters, Alma Belcher of Spice Creek, Margaret (Fred) Hatfield of Spice Creek, and Bethel Morgan of Clear Fork; three brothers, Blaine (Sue) Lester of Chapmanville, Buel (Helen) Lester of Spice Creek, and Gerald (Liz) Lester of Foster; five grandchildren, Dustin Bobbitt of Christian, Tara (Matthew) Grubb of Bolt, Whitney (Madison) Brown of Huntington, Corey Robinette of Spice Creek, and Brittany Robinette of Neon, KY; and four great-grandchildren, Levi Grubb, Kinlee Grubb, Briella Brown, and Colton McCray; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Christian Freewill Baptist Church in Christian with Rev. Jackie Grimmett and Rev. Roger Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Christian Freewill Baptist Church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
Pall bearers will be friends and family.
