Virginia O'Neal
Of Mallory, WV
Virginia O'Neal, 91, of Mallory, went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 13, 2017, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a sudden illness.
She was born May 5, 1926, at Logan, a daughter of the late Christopher and Mary Ethel Burgess Ratliff.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce G. O'Neal; one son, Bruce G. O'Neal, Jr.; two brothers, Randolph Ratliff and Orville Ratliff; and one sister, Virgie Caldwell.
Mrs. O'Neal was a home maker and a wonderful mother. She was a faithful longtime member of Mallory Church of God where she had a heart for visiting the sick and shut-ins. Mrs. O'Neal was a member of the Mallory Church of God Choir and the Ladies Aide. Her passion was serving the Lord in any way He needed. She loved spending time with her family especially her great-granddaughter, Isabella.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Debra Lynn (Bobby) Bryant of Davin and Gloria (Cecil) Hutchinson of Melbourne, FL; nine grandchildren, Seaburn James (Missy) Carter, Christina Plumley, Amber (David) Davis, Deidre Bryant, Jessica Robertson, Mike (Megan) Hutchinson, Kimberly (Lieutenant Colonel Donnie Adkins, Jr.) Adkins, Justina Hatfield, and Timothy O'Neal; and many great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Mallory Church of God at Mallory with Bishop Shaun Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
Pall bearers will be the Men of the Mallory Church of God.
