Teeny Ernestine Browning
Of Green Valley. WV
Teeny Browning, 79, of Green Valley, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family who loved her so much, on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
She was born July 11, 1938, at Accoville, a daughter of the late P.H. and Mable Jacobs Gollihue.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianna Lynn Hager, three brothers, James, Pete, and William Gollihue; and one sister, Marjorie Imes Biedlier.
Teeny has been a Christian since she was nine years old and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to sing and talk about the Lord.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Larry Browning; two daughters, Lara (Roy) Garbosky and Melody (Donald) Abbott; one son, Larry (April) Browning, three sisters, Joan Knirium, Geraldine (Richard) Smith, and Mary Lou Wingler; two brothers, Rev. Harry (Pauline) Gollihue and D.J. (Donna) Gollihue; eleven grandchildren, Roy (Billie) Garbosky, Crystal (Scott) Spence, Kenny (Diedra) Milton, Sara (Justin) Krummen, Michael Hall, John Hall, Hope (Joseph) Coomes, Claudia (James) Adams, Samuel Browning, Daniel (Leah) Browning, and Dianna Browning; two step-grandchildren, Ryan and Destiny; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the Kistler Freewill Baptist Church at Kistler.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Kistler Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Roland Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill where a graveside services will be held.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
