Obituary of Matt Henry Farley

Matt Henry Farley Of Kistler, WV Matt Henry Farley, 57, of Kistler, departed this life Friday, June 13, 2014, at his home, after a short illness. He was born on June 4, 1957, at Kistler, the son of the late Ira Jennings and Gladys Mae Canterbury Farley. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Johnny, Joe, and J.D., and sisters, Leona Blair and Garnet Riley. Surviving are his brothers, Bill (Peggy) Farley and Jody (Elvira) Farley, both of Mont Pelier, OH, and Joby (Kathy) Farley of Oceana; sister, Linda (Wess) Messer of Accoville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and 4 wheeling friends. A special thanks to caregivers, Wess, Della, Todd, Missy, Pringles, and Scotty. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Kistler Freewill Baptist Church at Kistler with Rev. Buddy Hager officiating. Burial will follow in Litz-Smith Cemetery at Accoville. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to services also.
