Philip E. "Popcorn" Jude
Of Crites, WV
Philip Eugene "Popcorn" Jude, 58, of Crites, departed this life on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at St. Mary's Hospital at Huntington, after a sudden illness.
He was born on September 23, 1959, at Man, a son of Golf "Fonzo" Jude of Crites and the late Margaret Ellen Maynard Jude.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Jude; and his paternal grandmother, Ethel Hooser Jude.
Philip attended Man High School.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his father, are one daughter, Danielle Gibson of Saunders; one brother, Michael Jude of Crites; and one sister, Sue (Ivan) Grace of Davin; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
Pall bearers will be Greg Lovell, Johnny Howard, Paul Brewster, John Heflin, Jr., Robbie Pack, Charlie Compton, and Chuck Osborne.
