Of Accoville, WV
On Wednesday, June 4th, 2014, an amazing man went to be with the Lord from CAMC-Memorial Division, after a short illness.
Mack Goodman, 71, of Accoville was born July 1, 1942, at Man, the son of the late Jack and Fannie Robinson Goodman.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Ray, Joe, and Jack, Jr.
Mack was a coal miner with 36 years of service having worked for Amherst Coal, Island Creek Coal, and retiring from Consolidated Coal. He gave his life to the Lord on Monday while in the hospital. Mack was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Nancy Bradbury Goodman; two sons, Rick (Tina) Goodman of Man and Ronnie Goodman of Accoville; one daughter, Ashley (Rocky) Matney of Lundale; five grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, and Dana Goodman and Shooter and Jett Matney; one sister, Dora Jean of Suffolk, VA along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan-Goodman Family Cemetery at Long Branch.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
