Phyllis Ann Gibson
Of Accoville, WV
Phyllis Ann Gibson, 69, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 11, 2017, leaving from Logan Center, after an extended illness.
She was born on April 14, 1948, at Accoville, a daughter of the late James Fred and Lula Bell Hager Belcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Denny Lee Belcher; one grandson, Danny Lee Vance II; one brother, Edward Hager; and two sisters, Brenda (Bobby) Clay and Carol Jean Bailey.
Phyllis was a home maker and a Christian. She enjoyed yard work, cooking, singing, and taking care of her animals.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sherry (Danny) Vance of Amherstdale; two grandchildren, Michael (Kathy) Vance of Taylorsville, NC and James "Buckshot" Vance of Amherstdale; great-grandchildren, Skyler and Tyler White, Chelsea Vance, Kyle and Ryan Browning, Kara Patterson, and Chase Vance; one great-great-grandson, Brody Price; two brothers, Ray Neil (Glenna) Belcher of Accoville, Rev. Jimmie (Phyllis Jean) Belcher of Crown, and Freddie Joe Belcher of Lorado; one sister, JoAnn Reed and Larry Kemper of Gallipolis, OH; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In honor of Phyllis' wishes her remains have been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
