Beatrice Ann Goodman (Adkins)
Of Christian, WV
Beatrice Ann Goodman (Adkins), 54, of Christian, departed this life on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Logan Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family and her favorite cousin, Carol Sue Murphy.
She was born November 28, 1962, at Man, a daughter of the late Henry and Lola Goodman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Morris Dale Goodman; nephew, Henry "Spud" Glandon; nieces, Lola Michelle Davis and Tasha Michelle Conley; great-niece, Brittney Gale Childers.
Beatrice loved all animals. She enjoyed loving on all of her dogs especially Sassy, Nut Nut, and Hubert. Her favorite hobby was genealogy and researching her family tree.
Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Jeremy (Krista) Adkins of Clayton, NC, Josh (Ashley) Goodman of Accoville, and Tyler Adkins of Honea, SC; five sisters, Lottie Marie (Ozie) Burgess of Neibert, Brenda (Rev. Bruce) Brumfield of Lumberton, NC, Sandy (Steve) Wallace of Amherstdale whose support, love, and dedication to driving Beatrice to all of her doctors appointments throughout her illness was greatly appreciated by the whole family; Rita (Raymond "Buddy") Conley of Blair, and Kathleen Green of Oceana; two brothers, Eugene (Tina) Goodman of Baisden and Frank (Deadra) Goodman of Blair; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jr., Adrienne, Gage, Jalynn, Vanessa, Lindsey, Little David, Blaze, Dale, and Mikey; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home.
Before entombment a prayer will be said by the family at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
