Of Lundale, WV
Henry Lee Smith, 68, of Bethlehem, PA formerly of Lundale, joined his family in their heavenly home on Thursday, February 9, 2017, leaving from his home in PA after an extended illness.
He was born on September 30, 1948, at Maitland, a son of the late Eugene, Sr. and Mildred Marie Buchanan Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Bellomy; his grandparents, Roy and Barbara Buchanan and John and Marie Smith; and his grand-daughter, Gabrielle Adkins.
Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he was stationed in South Korea and attained the rank of Sgt. He worked as a Time keeper for Island Creek Coal Company. Henry was a member of the Man Church of God. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Kristie (Terrill) Frye of Bethlehem, PA with whom he made his home, Kerri (Chris) Cullars of Ashland, AL, and Kelli (Bob) Phillips of Nazareth, PA; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Ruby) Smith, Jr. of Morristown, TN and Jerry (Taew) Smith of Lorado; a special friend who was like a brother, Andy Jack Lawrence of SC; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Robert "Bobby" Maxwell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Sparks Cemetery at Bradshaw.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon.
Pall bearers will be Timmy John Osborne, Marcus Hughes, Eugene Smith, Jr., Jake Brown, Terrill Frye, and Daniel Smith.
