Obituary of Prentiss Allen Carter

Prentiss Allen Carter Of Nallen, WV Prentiss Allen Carter, 66, of Nallen, departed this life on May 17, 2014, from Plateau Medical Center at Oak Hill. He was born June 28, 1947 at Logan, the son of the late Don and Garnet Perry Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, two brothers, Burgess and Ronald Eugene Carter. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Dorothy Lesher Carter of Nallen; two sons, Dale Carter and Heath Carter both of Dayton, OH; one daughter, Courtney Carter of Ansted; two step-daughters, Melanie Adkins Hamrick of Ansted and Elizabeth Sturgell Culver of Nallen; two brothers Johnny Edward Carter of Mill Creek and Barry Wayne Carter of Danville; one sister, Victoria Cresong of Bruno; nine grandchildren; two close friends Luther Brown of Nallen and Bryan Lesher of Lake; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man. Friends may gather one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Honoring Prentiss's request, his remains have been cremated. Online condolences may be sent to www.krantzmcneelyfuneralhome.com.
