Betty Jean Cline
of Mallory, WV
Betty Jean Cline, 78, of Mallory, went home to be with the Lord and her family on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, after a short illness.
Betty was born June 15, 1938, at Mallory, the daughter of the late Minister Densil and Trubie Grimmett Cline.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her twin brother, Bill who took his final flight on November 20, 2016; brother Jackie; sister Patty; brothers-in-law, Rev. Dallas Sias and Tommy Robinette; and nephew Jeffrey Robinette.
Betty loved to travel and shop. She loved going to Pigeon Forge with her sisters every year for their annual vacation/shopping extravaganza. She has traveled to the Holy Lands and was baptized in the Jordan River.
Betty graduated from Old Man High in 1957 and was a member of the Old Man High Alumni. She was an accomplished bowler, member of a local bowling league for 30 years and traveled the country bowling in tournaments. Betty worked for Man ARH for 48 years and retired the day the doors closed. She was a member of Kistler Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sisters Beatrice Sias of Mallory, Bonnie Robinette of Man, and Barbara (Buck) Wright of Cyclone; sister-in-law Sally Cline of Davin; four nieces, Shawn (Terry) Riggins of Man, Kristi (Eddie) Ferrell of Mallory, Leigh Ann (Carl) Hutchens of Fairfax, VA, and Kelli Robinette of Beckley; nephew, Tim (Leah) Sias of Harts; six great nephews, Tyler (Tiffany) Riggins of Scott Depot, Evan (Rachael) Riggins of Cyclone, Brent (fiancé Angela) Ferrell of Teays Valley, Jacob Riggins of Pikeville, KY, Elijah Stewart and Liam Hutchens, both of Fairfax, VA; great nieces, Morgan Robinette of Beckley and Emma Sias of Harts; great-great nephews, Preston Rorer and Brooks Riggins, both of Scott Depot and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Kistler Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Roland Cook, Rev. Roger Frye, and Rev. Kevin Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
Pallbearers will be nephews and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Freddie Wingler and the men of Kistler Freewill Baptist Church.
