James E. "Horny" Isaacs
of Earling, WV
James Ernest "Horny" Isaacs, 67, of Earling, was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, leaving from his earthly home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 6, 1949, at Branchland, a son of the late Lawrence and Mary Madden Isaacs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Kyle, Basil Perry, and Ronald Isaacs; and his sisters, Wanda Nelson, Virgie Davis, and Lenore Burgess.
James was a retired coal miner. His hobbies include working on old trucks, spending time with his family, and most of all he loved serving the Lord. James never met a stranger and would do anything to help anyone in need. He adored his family more than anything.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Theresa Grimmett Isaacs; two daughters, Rhonda (Kenny) Steelman and Jaime (Don) Mullins; three granddaughters, Brittany Steelman, Hannah Steelman, and Tessa Mullins; one grandson, James Mullins; one great-grandson, Cooper Steelman; two brothers, Dale (Brenda) Isaacs and Gary (Sandy) Isaacs; one sister, Patricia (Roy) Hendricks; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Basil Goodman and Rev. James Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
