Innis Yvonne Peck
of Accoville, WV
Innis Yvonne Peck, 73, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2016, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on May 16, 1943, at Newhall, a daughter of the late Charlie and Sally Southerland Fields.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tilson Peck; one daughter, Kathy Peck; one granddaughter, Sandy Lester; six brothers, Norman, Jackie, Haskel, Fred, Hershel, and Dalton Fields; and one sister, Minnie Peck.
Innis was a Christian who loved God more than anything. She was a member of the Christian Freewill Baptist Church. A loving mother, Innis put her children above herself in every situation. A strong woman, she was an inspiration to her family throughout her life. Even in the worst of times she never complained. Devoted to her family, Innis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory are five children, Wanda (Ricky) Brown, Brenda Wilburn, and John Peck, all of Davin, and Barbara (Lewis) Napier with whom she made her home and Tilson (Misty) Peck, both of Accoville; seven grandchildren, Phillip "Jabo" (Kristi) Curry, Amy (Craig) Puckett, Ricky (Sarah) Brown, Becky Brown, Jody (Brandi) Walls, Emily Rakes, and Justin Napier and his girlfriend, Shyann Mosley, who Innis thought of as a granddaughter; two sisters, Dolly Fields Matney and Carrie Fields Hicks; one brother, Clinton "Skeeter" Fields; and several great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
