Obituary of Judith Lynn Booth

Judith Lynn Booth, 67, of Man, joined her loving husband in their heavenly home on Saturday, October 15, 2016, leaving from Trinity Healthcare after a long illness. She was born June 8, 1949, in Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Atkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Booth; one daughter, Rebecca "Becki" Bassham; four brothers, Rev. Donald Atkins, Johnny Atkins, Jack Atkins and Bob Atkins. Judy was a 1967 graduate of Man High School. She worked in the banking industry for many years. Judy attended Becco United Baptist Church. She enjoyed making jewelery, crafting, and gardening. Judy loved spending time with her family especially her daughter and her grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Michael (Jennifer) Bassham of Midlothian, VA; one daughter, Brianna Booth of Henderson, NC; two grandchildren, Brandon and Lacie Bassham; and one brother, David (Mary) Atkins of Ohio; along with a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Trinity Healthcare at Logan for their care and kindness, especially Jill for all of her help and support. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. P.J. Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home and one hour prior to services also.
