Michael Steven Linville
of Kistler, WV
Michael Steven Linville, 64, of Kistler, departed this life on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after a short illness.
He was born June 15, 1952, at Man, a son of the late Billy Carter and Dorothy Louise Mitchem Linville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Edward Linville.
Mike was a 1970 graduate of Man High School where he played Hillbilly baseball. After graduation he attended Concord College. He then started his career in the coal mining industry where he worked for over 20 years before he became disabled. He enjoyed watching college sports, reading, playing golf, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Brittney (Kevin) Tue of Chauncey, and Amberia Conn and Morgan Conn, both of Robinette; one sister, Sarah (Sean) Finley of North Lewisburg, OH; three grandchildren, Braxton Nelson, Hunter McCloud, and Zayden Sherod; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Pamela Linville of Robinette and her son, Jackson Tackett; one very special niece, Alexandra Endicott of Reynoldsburg, OH; one special nephew, Andrew Cameron Endicott of North Lewisburg, OH; and twin great-nieces who he loved very much, Alaena and Addison Thacker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, at the Becco United Baptist Church at Becco where a service will be held at 7 p.m. with Rev. P.J. Tomblin officiating.
Pall bearers will be friends and family.
In honor of Mike's wishes his remains will be cremated.
