Tyler Ryan Gillispie
of Huntington, WV
Tyler Ryan "10-4" Gillispie, 28, of Huntington, formerly of Logan, departed this life Friday, September 30, 2016, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital at Huntington of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born March 11, 1988, at Logan, a son of Doug and Annette Gillispie Trent.
Preceding him in death are one brother, Larry Walls; his grandparents, Harvey and Lovadis McDaniels Gillispie; and his uncle, Donald "Mountain Duck" Gillispie.
Tyler attended school in the Man area until he moved to Logan where he graduated in 2006. He was currently employed with Autism Services Center where he worked with developmentally handicapped adults. He was an active member of the Avengers Motorcycle Club's Huntington Chapter where he proudly served as the Vice President. His love of riding motorcycles sparked a passion for building his own motorcycle. His efforts recently won the Peoples Choice Award at his brother, Lil' Hawks Motorcycle Shop at Oak Hill. Throughout his life Tyler made many friends who held a special place in his heart----he never met a stranger.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his fiancé, Ana Gaston of Huntington; one sister, Savannah (Gordon) Cline of Bruno; his nieces and nephews, Justin and Anthony "Weazle" Sloan of Wilkinson and McKinlee, Gavyn, and Taylin Cline, all of Bruno; his extended family, Jeffrey (Marina) Trent, Jessica Trent, Ryan Ferguson, and Kayla (Cody) Badgette; and his Avenger family along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Pastor Bill Cantrell and Tim "Santa" Yaniko BFC officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services also.
Pall bearers will be brothers of the Avengers Motorcycle Club and Jason "Harley" Farley.
