We are members of the Akron FWB Church in Akron, Ohio. We remember brother Bob coming to all our FWB Home Missions Meetings and National Association Meetings and along with Pastor & Mrs. Frisbee have been friends of Bob's for years. My sister, Cathy, and I are so saddened to learn that Robert Perry has passed away and want to extend our deepest condolences to all of Robert's beloved Family. I pray that all who knew and love Robert will be comforted by Heavenly Father and be surrounded by His love and receive strength, comfort, and peace as they mourn Robert's passing. I am so thankful that Robert encouraged our wonderful, truly-missed mother, Bernita Lindsay (passed away 11-27-15), to attend the Old Man High School reunions. I was fortunate to attend one of the reunions with Mother in Huntington. Robert provided our transportation, and the rides there and back were jam-packed with Robert's stories that elicited much laughter and high hilarity. Robert was such a true gentleman. I know he is deeply loved and will be truly missed. The world will be so much emptier without Robert. Of course, Robert is not gone; he is just not here. I picture him journeying down a cool, green trail-- forever close in all hearts who knew and loved him-- yet just beyond the Veil. Rest in peace, dear Robert; you have surely earned your Heavenly Reward.
