Obituary of Ronald Jay Booth

Ronald Jay Booth, Sr. of Earling, WV Ronald Jay Booth, Sr., 56, of Earling, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 4, 2016, leaving from his home, after a short illness. He was born September 1, 1960, at Logan, a son of Alma Jean Adkins Booth of Dingess and the late Earl Booth. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Booth, Jr. and Jimmy Allen Booth. Ronald was a mechanic formerly employed with Tic Toc Tire at Logan. He was a Christian who enjoyed attending the Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church and the Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church when he was able. Ronald also liked to fish, hunt, and to be outside. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are one son, Ronald Jay (Heather) Booth, II of Mt. Gay; one daughter, Ashley Michelle Booth of Lyburn; five brothers, Randall (Vickie) Booth of Lyburn, Thomas (Melissa) Booth of Accoville, Stacy (Terri) Booth of Logan, and Richard Booth and Jason (Donna) Booth, all of Dingess; two grandchildren, Dakota and Isaiah; along with a host of other relatives and friends. In honor of Ronald's wishes his remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
