Obituary of Sherry Ann Depta

Sherry Ann Depta of Kistler, WV Sherry Ann Depta, 51, of Kistler, departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2016, leaving suddenly from her home. She was born on May 15, 1965, at Man, a daughter of the late Willow Carmel Hughes and V. Shirley Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Bernice Hughes. Sherry was a home maker. She loved life, her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, 4-wheeling, and reading. Sherry was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years, Gary Daniel Depta; two daughters, Danielle (Jonathan) Jessie of Tampa, FL and Andrea Depta of Kistler; one son, Alex Depta of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Jazmyn Jessie and Jozlyn Jessie, both of Tampa, FL; two brothers, Mike Hughes and his fiance, Jackie Hickman, of Lake Park, GA and Mark (Jessica) Hughes of Accoville; and four nephews, Scott and Terry Hughes, both of CA, Marcus Hughes of Lundale, and Tiberius Hughes of Accoville; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a short service will begin at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, 115 Market Street, Man, WV 25635 to help with funeral expenses. In honor of Sherry's wishes her remains will be cremated after the visitation.
