Kathleen Plumley
Of Man, WV
Kathleen Plumley, 98, of Man, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 8, 2014.
She was born April 9, 1916, at Scites in Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Justina and Freeman Plumley. She was known to many as "Mommy".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all eight of her brothers and sisters, Clyde, Inez, Ethel, Sherman, Carlos, Gladys, Willard, and her beloved baby sister, Thrussel. She was the last surviving sibling of the Freeman Plumley family. Also, preceding her in death are two daughters, Linda Plumley-Tomlinson and Brenda Plumley-Madrid; one son, Paul Carlos Plumley; one granddaughter, Deborah Elaine Dubanowich; and three sons-in-law, Louis Dubanowich, Jr, Charles E. Kirk, and Melvin J. Tomlinson.
The immediate family left to cherish her memory are: Earnestine Dubanowich of Man; Betty Plumley Kirk of Powell, OH; Sonja Plumley Rogers (Anthony) of Norcross, GA; Nancy Plumley-Winter (Mike Clark) of Fort Myers, FL; and her best friend forever, Tommy Adkins of Cyclone.
Other relatives include: Charles Edward Kirk II (Rachel); Angela Winter-Verhaalen (Kevin); Bridgette Dubanowich-Appicelli (John); Michael P. Winter (Larra), Roxy, Mara Kathleen, & McKell; Jay Phillips, Jr. and JJ; Jacinda Shapiro (Stuart) and Vania; Tina & Mike Reed, and Linda & David Donahue.
A memorial service and entombment will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel at 169 Forest Lawn Cemetery Road
Pecks Mill, WV 25547 with Rev. George Kostas officiating.
