Obituary of Hal Adam Eplin

Hal Adam Eplin of Davin, WV Hal Adam Eplin, 30, of Davin, departed this life suddenly on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Davin. He was born March 6, 1986, at Man, a son of Gary Mitchell and Deanna Carol Elkins Eplin of Davin. Preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents, Haskel and Estyella Spears Eplin; aunts and uncles, Kelly Elkins, Sandra Eplin, Paul Eplin, Butch and Linda McDaniels, and Greg and Drema Eplin. Hal was of the Baptist faith and had attended Man High School. He had a very kind and giving heart. Hal was formerly employed with Vance's Recycling. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his twin sister, Hali Eplin of Charlotte, NC; his maternal grandparents, Hal and Joyce Booth Elkins of Lyburn; aunts and uncles, Dana Elkins and Wayne Jackson of Charleston, Chris and Katie Farmer Elkins of Pecks Mill, Jimmy and Lacy Eplin of Davin, and Judy Eplin of Combs Addition; many cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the Davin Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Hatfield assisted by Rev. Tommy Vance. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church also. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Hal's name to the Davin Baptist Church, P.O. Box 441, Davin, WV 25617.
