Donald Edward Clark
of Davin, WV
Donald Edward Clark, 66, of Davin, departed this life Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the home of his brother, Charlie "Tommy" at Kistler, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born March 15, 1950, in Logan County, a son of the late Charlie Homer and Dorothy Viola Holman Clark.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Everett (Jack) Clark, William Earl Clark, and Ronald Gene Clark; three sisters, Barbara Ann Burk, Audrey Marie Pennington, and Shelby Jean Adkins; and one grand-daughter, Shauna Clark.
Donald was a mechanic who worked at various garages. He was an U. S. Army veteran. He enjoyed working on cars and putting gasoline motors on bicycles. Donald loved spending time with his grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are Josephine Garboski Clark; two daughters from a previous marriage, Dorothy Jean Clark of FL and Jenny Rebecca Pownall of PA; two grandchildren, Kevin Shuey and Madison Bowman; several step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Deskins of Pecks Mill and Sharon (Daniel) Vance of Grove City, OH; four brothers, Clyde Ray Clark of Kent, WA, Clarence Clark of Cleveland, OH, Bobby (Marge) Clark of South Amherst, OH, and Charlie "Tommy" Clark, Jr. of Kistler; a brother-in-law, Moss Adkins of FL; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Joey Kennedy officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
In honor of Donald's wishes his remains will be cremated and buried with his mother.
