Edythe Muncy
of Kistler, WV
Edythe Alice Muncy, 97, of Kistler, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a long illness.
She was born on July 6, 1918, In Martin County, KY, a daughter of the late Lacy Harmon Robinson and Mary Elizabeth Mills Robinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Muncy; one son, Charles Ezra Muncy; one sister, Ardena Mangini; and four brothers, Jack, Walt, Lacy, Jr. and Jim Robinson.
Edythe was a home maker who took great pride in her home and family. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading and watching "her stories."
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pam Stacy and her granddaughter with whom she shared a special bond, Candace Stacy with whom she made her home; Carole (Roger) Spence of Plant City, FL, Lois (Michael) Venoy of Valrico, FL, and Sharon (Tommy) Bailey of Lundale; grandchildren, Dee (Kerri) Venoy, Tina (Greg) Webb, Shane (Candy) Bailey, April (Jessica) Bailey; great-grandchildren, Jessica (Adam) Massey, Joey Venoy, Dylan and Baylee Webb, Matthew and Luke Bailey, and Bentley Bailey; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher.
Visitation will be held from 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home also.
Pall bearers will be Tommy, Shane, Matthew, Luke Bailey, Josh Castle, and Danny "D.B." Moore.
