Jackie Dwain Tackett
of Robinette, WV
Jackie Dwain Tackett, 60, of Robinette, was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2016, after fighting a short illness.
He was born July 16, 1955, at Man, a son of the late Herman Franklin and Lorraine Copley Tackett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Renee Tackett; his grandparents, James Hobert and Gracie Knipp Tackett and Blaine and Chattie Moore Copley; one infant brother, Herman Tackett; his uncles, Tennis, Blaine, Jr., Andrew "Dutter", Lawrence "Tom", Ralph, and Howard Copley, and Charles, Glen, and Roy, Tackett; his aunts, Beulah Doty, Irene Sugg, Christine Dorton, and Vivian Sue Hensley.
Jack was a self employed carpenter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Germany. Jack was an avid coon hunter and sports fan. He was a member of the PKC organization while living in IN and IL.
Those left to cherish his memory are his companion and mother of his son, Jackson, Pamela Linville; five daughters, Susan Kaye Tackett of Vincennes, IN, Jaclyn Marie of IL, Amberia Conn and Morgan Conn, both of Robinette, and Brittany (Kevin) Tue of Chauncey; three sons, Jackson Tackett at home , David Case of Indianapolis, IN, and Jack Daniel of IL; grandsons, Logan Keller, Tate Keller, Braxton Nelson, Hunter McCloud, and Zayden Sherod; two granddaughters, Maddie and Allie Meade; one brother, Eddie (Elizabeth) Tackett of Crown; the mother of his son and companion, Pamela Linville of Robinette; a very special sister-in-law, Marcella Spears of Amherstdale; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Becco United Baptist Church where a funeral services will begin at 7 P.M. with Rev. P.J. Tomblin officiating.
His remains will be cremated and shared between his son and his daughter.
Pall bearers will be Johnny Copley, Adam Perry, Jimbo Tackett, Gene Hatfield, Scotty Isaacs, and John Tackett.
