Ruth Bailey Graham
of Man, WV
Ruth Bailey Graham, 90, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 16, 2016, leaving peacefully from Oak Ridge Center at Charleston, after a long illness.
She was born on December 18, 1925, at Baileysville, the daughter of the late Fred H. and Maude Collins Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Simon P. Graham, Sr.; one son, Joseph Freeland Graham; four brothers, William "Dick" Bailey, Philip N. Bailey, James P. Bailey, and Fred H. Bailey, Jr.
Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Man. She retired after 31 years of service from Man Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Simon P. Graham, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of South Charleston, her daughter, Annette Karr and her husband, Alan, of Holden; grandchildren, Jeremy Minor of Huntington, Joseph Graham of South Charleston, Jessica Minor Thomas and her husband, Matthew, of Morgantown, and Jillian Minor of Holden; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
The family would like to thank the staff of Oak Ridge Center, Charleston Garden Assisted Living, and Kanawha Hospice Care for their kindness and care. We would also like to also thank her neighbors, friends, and church family for their love and support.
Services to honor her memory will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Clyde Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home also.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the First Baptist Church, 108 E. McDonald Ave., Man, WV 25635
