Obituary of Chloe Dutton Thompson

Chloe Dutton Thompson, 91, of Huntington, was called home peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 24, 2016, from her earthly home in Huntington, after an extended illness.
She was born on December 2, 1924, at Turny Camp in Stone, KY, the daughter of the late James Walker and Lula Dutton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Thompson; four sons, James Richie, John L., Jr., Gary, and Edwin "Eddie"; one daughter, Elizabeth "Cathy" Smith; two brothers, Okey and Elias "Shorty" Dutton; and two sisters, Gennie Mae Thaker and Gladys Wassel.
Those left to cherish her memory are one sister, Alice Gillman of Springfield, OH; three daughters, Louise Keeton of Springfield, OH, Helen Dellinger of Toledo, OH, and Eleanor Kay (Danny) Salyer of Paradise, CA; four sons, Lester Thompson of Amherstdale, Larry (Jean) Thompson of South Shore, KY, and Lynn Thompson and David Thompson, both of Huntington; 20 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Memorial Gardens at Huddy, KY.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home also.
Pall bearers will be Robert and Joe Dellinger, Gary Thompson, Greg Cline, David Thompson, II, Ryan Linville, and Justin Smith.
