Mary Gladys Brown
of Man, WV
Mary Gladys Daniels Ball Brown, 78, of Man, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, February 28, 2016, leaving from CAMC-Memorial Division, after a long illness.
She was born August 1, 1937, at Curtis, a daughter of the late Andy and Ada Blossom Daniels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Brown; one daughter, Vicky Ball; three sons, Ray Bob Toler, Danny Ray Ball, and Edward Lee Ball; and 22 brothers and sisters.
Mary was a home maker. A Christian for 38 years, Mary was a faithful member of the Man Church of God where she served in the Ladies Aide until she became house bound due to illness. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Susan (Hubert) Maynard of Edgarton; one son, Curtis Eugene Ball of Man; three grandchildren, Shana Marie (Woodrow) Cline of Hanover, Keith Edward (Tenamarie) Ball of Stone, KY, and Edward Ray Clayton Bartram residence unknown; six great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Nash, Matthew Cline, Kiera Cline, Austin Chapman, Bryce Chapman, and Benjamin Keith Ball; one great-great-grandson, Bentley Jacob Chapman; two special friends, Daniel Nash and Carolyn Grimmett; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery at Jeffrey.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
