Beulah Deloris Doty
of Kistler, WV
Beulah Deloris Copley Doty, 83, of Kistler, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2016, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after an short illness.
She was born February 26, 1932, at Accoville Hollow, a daughter of the late Blaine and Chattie Moore Copley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lee Doty; five brothers, Tennis, Blaine, Jr., Andrew, Howard, and Lawrence "Tom" Copley; and two sisters, Irene Sugg and Lorraine Tackett.
Beulah was a home maker. She was a longtime member of the Kistler Freewill Baptist Church, where she and her husband were very active until he went to heaven in 2012. When she was able, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and working in her yard. Devoted to her family, Beulah loved spending time with her family, especially birthdays, holidays, and reunions.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Roger Lee Doty of Alum Creek and Bruce Edward (Ramona) Doty of Lorado; three grandchildren, Amanda (Stacey) Hager of Charleston, Roger Lee (Kristie) Doty, Jr. of Beckley, and Tracey (Riki) De of Amherstdale; three great-grandchildren, Cashel and Cormac Hager and Jase Doty; two brothers, Ralph Copley of MI and Rev. Frank (Lila) Copley of Davin; sisters-in-law, Ruth Copley, Alice Copley, Lorrane Copley, and Barbara Copley; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Kistler Freewill Baptist Church at Kistler with Rev. Roland Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Nephews will serve as pall bearers.
