Obituary of Ruth Jude

Ruth Jude of Lundale, WV Ruth Jude, 80, of Lundale, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2016, leaving from Trinity Health Care at Logan, after a long illness. She was born on May 19, 1935, at Accoville, a daughter of the late Andrew and Bertha Lee Johnston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Jude; one son, David Jude; one sister, Naomi Pelphrey; and one brother, George Johnston. Ruth was a home maker and a wonderful mother and grandmother. A christian, Ruth had attended the Buffalo Valley Freewill Baptist Church at Crites and the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church when her health permitted. She loved to sing gospel music and sang for many years in the churches she attended. Ruth also enjoyed reading. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sharon Jude of Lundale; one son, Randy (Cynthia) Jude of Mud Fork; six grandchildren, Michael Hughes, Kathy Shan, Becky Jude, Vickie Holt, Chris Jude, and Hannah Jude; and 12 great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pelphrey-Jude Family Cemetery at Clear Fork. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services also.
