Obituary of Christy Lynn Gaikowski

Christy Lynn "T.T." Smith Gaikowski, 41, of Accoville, departed this life on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at her home. She was born on February 23, 1974, at Logan, a daughter of Paul Howard and Betty Jane Matthews Smith of Accoville. Preceding her death are her maternal grandparents, George and Georgia Matthews; and her paternal grandparents, Houston and Hazel Smith. Christy was a 1992 graduate of Man High School. She was a former CNA who had worked for Logan Park Care. She enjoyed cheering, gymnastics, and singing in the church choir at Man Church of God. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, are two sons, Daniel Gaikowski who attends WVU and Cameron Gaikowski who attends Man High School; two sisters, Paula New of Robinette and Hazel (Lafe L.) Mollett of Chapmanville; two brothers, Paul Howard (Rowena) Smith II of Roanoke, Virginia and George (Michelle) Smith of Accoville; and eight nieces and nephews, Alissa, Haley, Annie, Tony, Katie, Ashley, Matthew, and Braeden; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Donald Lafferty and Rev. Bobby Maxwell officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Pall bearers will be Cameron Gaikowski, Daniel Gaikowski, George Smith, Steven Ellis, Brian Perry, and Paul Howard Smith II.
