Isabelle Clay Browning
of Omar, WV
Isabelle Clay Browning, 90, of Omar, formerly of Man, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 3, 2015, leaving from Tug Valley ARH, after a short illness.
She was born October 27, 1925, at Branchland, daughter of the late Claude and Tennessee Clay.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by, her husband Alvie Browning; one sister, Gernie Adkins; three brothers, John Clay, William Clay, and George Clay; two grandsons, Anthony Ray Francis and Darrell Franklin Francis.
Isabelle was a home maker and a loving mother. She was a member of the Taplin Free Will Baptist Church for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Wilda (Sarge) Armstrong of Omar, Holley Mounts of Wayne County, Wayne E. Browning of Pritchard, Alice Bailey of Oak Hill, and Roger Dale Browning of Landville; 14 grandchildren; several grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; special friend, Sue (Jim) Carpenter of Omar; along with a host of nieces, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at Taplin Free Will Baptist Church at Taplin with Brother Anthony Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Claypool Cemetery at Claypool.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to services also.
Pall bearers will be grandsons.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
