Obituary of Ronald Lee Gibson

Ronald Lee Gibson of Lyburn, WV Ronald Lee "Poodle" Gibson, 62, of Lyburn, departed this life on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness. He was born on September 7, 1953, in Logan County, a son of the late Basil and Edith Browning Gibson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Gene Gibson and Kenny Gibson; his grandparents, Orville and Lenora Browning and Frank and Medie Gibson; and his aunt, Lula Bell Hager. Ronald was a disabled coal miner and carpenter. He enjoyed baseball, riding 4-wheelers, and motorcycles. Ronald loved anything to do with horses. Those left to cherish his memory are several aunts and uncles, Frank Junior Gibson, Orville "Blackie" Browning, Earl and Sue Browning, all of Lyburn, and Naomi and Edwin Browning of Kentucky; a special niece, Heather Gibson and her daughter, Gracie, of NC; and many cousins along with a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Jody Brown officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. In honor of Poodle's wishes his remains will be cremated.
