Larry Joe Caudill
of Kopperston, WV
Larry Joe Caudill, 60, of Kopperston, formerly of Holden, departed this life on Friday, October 30, 2015, in route to Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley after an apparent heart attack.
He was born October 22, 1955, at Man, a son of the late Alford and Juanita Justice Caudill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tiara Jade Stacy; two brothers, Levi Duke Caudill and Ralph Caudill; and one sister, Clara Bloomfield.
Larry was a long haul independent trucker contracted with U.S. Express at Chattanooga, TN. He was a Christian who faithfully read his Bible. Larry enjoyed playing and watching football as well as watching basketball and baseball on television. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15+ years, Lerna Teresa Dotson Caudill; seven children, Jessica (Jason) Sheets of Beckley, Rhonda (Scottie) Mullins of Oceana, Ashley (Gary Keith) Vannatter of Delbarton, Tiffany Steele of Kopperston, Ricky Vinson of Delbarton, Lana (D.J.) Davis of Campus, and Jamie Gore of Dingess; ten grandchildren, Keana and Jody Thomas, Bailee Sheets, Alexa Mullins, Brayden Mounts, Addison and Channing Vannatter, Danzel Steele, McKenna New, and Pierson Davis; four sisters, Ida Miller of Princeton, Pauline (Tommy) White of Huff Creek, Betty (Mike) Workman of Montgomery, AL, and Patty Adkins of Beckley; two brothers, Bob Caudill of the Philippines and John (Cathy) Caudill of Man; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the House of Faith at Browning Fork with Rev. Lowell Smith, Rev. Joe Lester, and Rev. Diamond Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork.
Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Tuesday, at the House of Faith at Browning Fork, where a service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Pall bearers will be Keith Lee, John and Ralph Caudill, Scottie Mullins, and Ricky Vinson.
