Lori Vance Toler, 59, of Bruno, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 from CAMC Memorial after an extended illness.
She was born August 6th, 1965, in Man, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Vance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Vance, a sister, Theresa Gibson, and 2 sisters-in-law Tamara (Tang) Curry and Tamera Mounts Vance.
Lori was a proud graduate of Gilbert High School and went on to pursue her passion for education at Marshall University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Education. She dedicated countless years to shaping young minds, leaving an indelible mark on her students and colleagues alike. Her compassion and commitment to teaching extended beyond the classroom, as she always sought to inspire others to achieve their fullest potential.
In addition to her career in education, Lori worked at PicPac, where she formed countless friendships and loved her coworkers and community. Her kind heart and warm smile left an impression on everyone she met.
Above all, Lori was a loving and devoted mother to her three sons, who were the light of her life. Her greatest joy was found in supporting and nurturing them, and she was their steadfast source of guidance, love, and encouragement.
A devout Christian, Lori was an active and beloved member of the Claypool Methodist Church, where she faithfully served in many capacities, including singing in the choir. Her beautiful voice was a testament to her deep love for worship and her steadfast devotion to her faith. She exemplified grace and humility, always seeking to serve others and share the light of Christ.
