Buddy was a long time neighbor and friend of the family. He grew up with my older siblings and later he and his family lived next door to our family for many decades. He was a true Christian in both word AND deed. He was a kind and compassionate man, an honest pillar of the community. He will be missed greatly by all of us. Our sincerest condolences

I remember 1967, 68 when we dated you were my first love. Things happen we broke up, you and I have a wonderful life. Then you came back into my life after many years we married and had a blessed and wonderful life. You will always be my baby as you told me. You will be my last love. I don’t know how to go on with out my baby. You would always say God will take care of us and I know God will. I love you as we always said we love each other the same. I did not know your Dad very well but always saw and spoke to your parents at the WVU games! Your junior year the team played Syracuse on Thanksgiving day. Some of the players’ family got together and had Thanksgiving dinner at the resort where the team stayed before the game. I asked your Dad to say grace and I will never forget how lovely it was. He prayed for the team and good sportsmanship as well as for our families and the many blessings we all are grateful for having in our lives. It brought tears to my eyes. I know he was a very good man and I am so very sorry for this profound loss. You and your bother will carry on his love for God and family. Take care of yourself and your family.
Sincerely
Linda Brooks
