Obituary of Ralph David Wingler

Ralph David Wingler, 73, went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2024.
Ralph was born at Logan on June 28, 1951, a son of MaryLou (Gollihue) Wingler and the late Ralph Wingler.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Cassandra Wilson; grandparents, PH and Mabel Gollihue, Everette and Zida Wingler; sister, Kim Deskins; niece, Chastity Hatfield; nephew, Scotty Adkins; and one brother-in-law, Ricky Adkins.
Ralph honorably served his country in the US Army from 1973 to 1976 during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the 101st Air Born Screaming Eagles.
One of his favorite past times was going to the old airport, so he could fly his Model remote air plane. He loved music and could play the guitar and piano. Family was everything to Ralph and he adored spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies.
Those left to cherish his loving memory are his wife, Linda Wingler; six children, Angel Wingler Spurlock of Henlawson, Linda Kaye (Jon) Brockwell of TN, Kathy Runyon of Lorado, Donna (Derek) Toler of Accoville, Kenny (Becky) Curley of KY, James Curley of Lorado; grandchildren, Paige Dowden, Kali Brockwell, Olivia Toler, Jayce Curley, Kenny Curly Jr., Issac Curley, Ralph Wilson, Malachai Brumfield; one great-great-grandchild, Ralph Wilson the 4th; his Mother, MaryLou Wingler; Three Sisters, LaDonna Adkins of VA, Terri (Bob) Blankenship of Earling, and Rhonda (David) Adkins of Accoville; Three brothers, Mike (Kay) Wingler of Accoville, Joe Wingler of Charleston, Benny (Susan) Clay of Wayside; two very special friends, Sheila Miller, and Orlando Rogers, both of Lorado, Dustin Bobbitt, of Landville; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, with Rev. Chet Clay officiating.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home.
Military honors will be provided by the Wyoming County Veteran honor guard.
In honor of Ralph’s wishes his remains will be cremated after services.
