Clairus (Dunn) Keep
Of Brighton, MI
Formerly of Man
Her Legacy… Clairus Keep, 67, passed away on November 26, 2024. She was born on May 6, 1957, in Logan, West Virginia, to Benjamin Dunn and Jane (Canterbury) Dunn. Clairus married the love of her life, Jerry Dunn Sr., on November 24, 1970, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Clairus worked as a real estate agent and was also a tax preparer. She stayed very busy, and there wasn’t a hobby that she wouldn’t try. Clairus has done everything from cake decorating, crocheting, crafting, and candy making. She was very respondent to both her families and community’s needs; distance didn’t matter, she would go anywhere to help someone. Clairus was the family’s historian, she knew the “who’s who to whomever you inquired about”. She always had the best advice to give and was a wonderful listener to so many. Clairus loved the Lord with her whole heart, her faith was very important to her. Clairus was dearly loved by all who knew and loved her and she will be greatly missed.
Her Family… Clairus will be missed by her children, Rebecca Boivin, Jerry Dunn Jr., Georgina Dunn, Johnathan Dunn; sisters, DeAnna Bryson, Zydis (Tommy) Browning; brother, Roy Cecil (Kelsey) Dunn (nephew); grandchildren, Andrew, Sylvia, Justin, April, Julian, Aubrey, Samantha, Leah; great-grandson, Journey; a host of nieces and nephews; and longtime dear friend, Cleta Cory. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dunn Sr.; parents, Benjamin and Jane Dunn; siblings, Oval, Naaman, Loretta, Beatrice, Jack, Marksie, Tillis, and LaDeane; and former husband and friend, Charles Keep.
