Obituary of Betty Sue Jones

Betty "Sue" Jones, 76, of Beaver, opened her eyes in heaven at 9:25 am on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital after fighting her longtime illnesses.
Born September 19th, 1948, in Cyclone (Toney Fork), she was the daughter of Anna Mae "Mammy" Toler and the late Arnold "Pappy" Toler.
Mawmaw Sue formerly worked in childcare for 15 years in North Carolina before moving back to West Virginia.
She is survived by her spouse, Glenn Jones of Beaver; three sons, Randall "June Bug" Farley and his wife Tina Farley of Louisburg, NC, Donald "Don Don" Farley of Lake Royale, NC, Johnny Farley and his wife Stephanie Farley of LaCross, VA; two daughter, Tenna Farley Gibson and her husband Charlie Gibson of Beaver and Sharon Saul’s of Perry, FL; one step-son James Jones and his wife Amanda Jones of Maryland; 22 grandchildren, Whisper Acord of Virginia, Nicholas Farley and his wife Makenzie of Brenton, Jericho Farley and Christina McDonald of Bunn, NC , William "Zack" Farley and his wife Megan Bunn of Youngsville, NC, Justin Farley of Louisburg, NC, Kennedy Simpson of Raleigh, NC, Austin Zelezniak of North Carolina, Christopher Farley and Lauryn Cox of Zebulon, NC, Taylor Farley of Middlesex, NC, Cooper Gibson of Beaver, Chandler Gibson and Maggie Brown of Beaver, Kenna Jones of Maryland, Quinn Jones of Maryland, Harley Powell of Louisburg, NC, Jeremiah Evans and his wife Kayla Evans of Clayton, NC, Noah Evans and his wife Amanda Evans of Youngsville, NC, and Hanna Evans of Perry, FL; 8 great-grandchildren, Andrew Cook, Wyatt Cook, Bristol Cook, Atlas Farley, Lakelynn Farley, William "Jaxson" Farley, Maple Simpson, Dallas Evans, and one on the way. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and a plethora of great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother, Anna Mae Toler of Davin at 100 years old; 9 siblings Ruby Toler of Daniels, Emily Buckner of Whitewater, Jean Graham of Amhearst, Loraine Workman and husband Kenny Workman of Davin, Sonny Toler and Emily Toler of Cool Ridge, Jerry Toler and his wife Sherry Toler of Davin, Dean Toler and Tennessee Toler of Gastonia, Helen Porter and husband Nathan Porter of Davin, Michele Toler-Porter and her fiancé Angela Renee of Winston Salem; special friends Gwen Harris and Lacey Cline.
Mawmaw Sue is also survived by her cats "babies" Mommy Cat, Cannonball, Shadow, Millie, and Bandit.
She was preceded in death by her father Arnold "Pappy" Toler; sister Sylvia Elkins; two brothers, James "Pete" Toler and John Gibson.
For those wishing to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service, it will be held at Toler Baptist Church in Campus, West Virginia, on Saturday, November 30th, 2024. The visitation will be held at 5:00 pm, and the funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm, with Rev. Steve Gibson officiating with Brother James Buckner assisting.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Samantha Miller, the staff of Prompt Care in Daniels, the staff at Princeton Memorial, Ruby Memorial, and the staff of Beaver Kroger Pharmacy for their incredible help and kindness.
Mawmaw was our coffee lover, avid yard sale shopper, and best friend.
