David Alan “Bub” Wingler, 40, of Robinette, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Pikeville Medical Center at Pikeville, KY, after an apparent heart attack.
He was born November 17, 1983, at Man, the son of David L. Wingler of Lundale, and the late Georgia A. (Walls) Wingler.

Bub was a 2002 graduate of Man High School. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the woods. Bub liked playing poker with his friends. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a kind heart and would put on facebook if anyone didn’t have a place to go for dinner to come on up. Bub would do anything for his family, friends, or anyone who needed help.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his father David L. and his wife Tina (Vance) Wingler; his wife, Ashley Wingler; one daughter, Hailey Mills and her husband, Braxton of Rum Creek; one step-son, Isaiah Swims of Switzer, one step-daughter, Nevaeh Crum; two sisters, Phyllis and Eli Thomas, Jr. of Verner and Ashley and Jackie Walls of Earling; a special Aunt and Uncle, Gerald C. and Delores Slone of Robinette; three sisters-in-law, Lynn Gilman of Logan, Jamie Bevino of MI, and Rhonda Bevino of NC; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
